Brattleboro Buddy Walk

On October 17th the Brattleboro Buddy Walk will be presenting a virtual event to help raise awareness for individuals of all abilities and help raise funds for Special Olympics programs in Windham county.

Here is how you can be involved.

  • Register online or by mail (using our mail in registration form) Registration fees are used to cover the promotion and production costs of this event.
  • IF YOU WANT A FREE T-SHIRT PLEASE REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 19TH.
  • Following safe social distancing guidelines take some time between now and October 10th to spend with family and friends outside and walk in your neighborhood to help raise awareness for individuals of all abilities.
  • Remember October is National Down syndrome awareness month.
  • During your walk record a video message about how you support inclusion and opportunities for all individuals and invite others to join in.
  • Use that video on social media to challenge your friends and family to join this effort and event to help raise awarenss and funds
  • Send your video message by October 10th to https://www.dropbox.com/request/ChoojCcCclnGQNhCqioK and we will share your message at our virtual event on October 17th

  • Once you register for this event you will recieve an invitation by email to attend our virtual celebration on October 17th at 4pm where we will have special guests and speakers, musical presentations from various musical groups in the area, live chat from participants, prerecorded messages from participants, vendors and sponsors and fundraising updates
  • Groups and individuals who register by October 16th will be eligible to recieve raffle prizes from area businesses.
  • If you register by September 19th you will recieve a special 2020 Brattleboro Buddy Walk t-shirt
